The RCI DE8310 Series Delayed Egress Electromagnetic Locks offer a complete access control solution for single out swinging doors. Featuring a 15 or 30-second release delay and pressure-detection capability, these locks require no modification to existing door hardware. The DE8310 model includes an external sounder, while the DE8310-S features a built-in sounder. Both models support local and remote monitoring via relay outputs and are ideal for loss prevention, life safety, and controlled egress applications.

S - Built-In Sounder:

The built-in sounder emits a slow pulsing tone during the nuisance delay, followed by a continuous tone throughout the release delay. If the door is forced open before the delay period ends, the sounder will continue to sound and cannot be silenced without cutting system power.
